The Inspiring Story of The Garage School
The Garage School is a truly exceptional organization with a powerful grassroots history.
Founded in November 1999 by Shabina Mustafa, the school’s journey began humbly in her own garage in Karachi, Pakistan, with just a handful of students. It was born out of a determination to provide cost-free, quality education to children from the local Shah Rasool and Neelum Colonies students who face significant barriers to learning.Today, The Garage School provides cost-free education, essential nutrition, and medical care to hundreds of ambitious students. Their focus is holistic: combining academics with vocational training (including computer skills) and tarbiat (grooming and character building) to prepare them for both professional and personal success. We are proud to support this mission through our collaboration with the i-Care Foundation, which helps sustain this vital CSR project.
