A Public Tribute Before Hundreds of Partners

At our recent 30th Anniversary celebration, the atmosphere was electric. But amidst the presentations and awards, one unscripted moment stood out. Pakistani superstar Ahsan Khan, standing on the main stage in front of hundreds of Texitech customers and partners, paused the proceedings to share a personal story about our CEO, Mr. Sohail ur Rahman.
It wasn’t a rehearsed script; it was a genuine story about generosity, education, and trust.
A Father’s Need for Education
Ahsan recounted a moment from about four years ago. Like many parents, he realized that his daughter, then 12 or 13 years old, needed a laptop to keep up with her studies.
He reached out to a close friend for advice, who immediately gave him a specific direction:

A Gesture of Generosity
Ahsan called Mr. Sohail to purchase the machine. However, what happened next left the actor surprised. Addressing the audience and Mr. Sohail directly from the stage, Ahsan revealed that when our CEO learned the laptop was intended for a child’s education, he refused to discuss the price.
“This guy sent a person with the laptop and Sohail Sahab did not even charge for it He said, ‘If you are taking this for studies and education, keep this as a gift from me.'”
Ahsan emphasized to the gathered crowd that he felt compelled to praise this gesture publicly not just for the gift itself, but for the intent behind it: a genuine desire to support the next generation’s learning.
The Verdict on Quality: 4 Years Later
4 Years Later While the story highlighted the values of our leadership, it also served as a powerful, real-world review of the hardware we supply. It has been nearly four years since that laptop was delivered. Standing on stage, Ahsan confirmed the device’s longevity to the room:
“It’s been three or four years now but it is just like it is brand new. It works wonders, and it’s brilliant, I must say.”
For a tech company, there is no better validation than a customer stating that a four-year-old machine still runs like new. Following this positive experience, Ahsan mentioned he purchased another unit for his second child this time insisting on paying!
